Target Audience and Design Our game was designed specifically for children aged 5-10 and their parents. Research indicated that this age group often struggles with emotional regulation.
To create an engaging and effective experience, we employed several design principles:
Intuitive and Colorful Interface: A vibrant color palette and dynamic animations captured children’s attention and made the game visually appealing.
Relatable Characters: Engaging and friendly characters served as role models and encouraged emotional connection.
Familiar Settings: Game levels were based on everyday scenarios, making it easy for children to relate to the content.
Minimalist Design: A clean and uncluttered interface prevented cognitive overload and allowed children to focus on the gameplay.
By combining these design elements, we created a game that not only entertained but also provided a valuable tool for emotional development and family bonding.
